Except in politics - then it’s policy” (via Austin Cline) I was thinking about this today in between hanging up sales signs at work. What upsets me the most about “Christian politics” is that they’re so inconsistent with what the Bible actually says. The two issues that get the most attention, abortion and homosexuality, are mentioned zero and seven times, respectively. And poverty, which is mentioned over 1000 times and undisputably in violation of Biblical teachings, is never addressed. Wtf?
